Shawn Clark
COACHING EXPERIENCE:
Shawn has been coaching CrossFit for 6 years and grew up competing through sport. This passion led him to study Fitness & Health Promotion at Humber College becoming a certified Personal Trainer that led him to discover CrossFit. Shawn has completed his L2 & CrossFit Kids certifications and is a competitive CrossFit athlete as well. Shawn is the owner and head coach who is responsible for developing our well-integrated programming weekly. Shawn is a force to be reckoned with and is committed to ensuring everyone becomes the best version of themselves.

CrossFit COL has a been an integral part of my life since the day I walked in the doors. It’s where I found my home, my wife and continued to grow my love for the sport. Ainsley Dreisinger
COACHING EXPERIENCE:
Ainsley has been coaching CrossFit for 6 years with over 10+ years of coaching experience in the fitness industry. Ainsley graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Kinesiology & has always had a passion for health and wellness. She is a L2 CrossFit Coach and has also completed her BirthFit course specializing in Prenatal and Postpartum exercise. She is the owner of CrossFit COL & is responsible for all administrative tasks. Ainsley is the perfect combination of fun and fierce. She ensures that every member leaves COL with a positive experience.

Eden has been coaching CrossFit and Team Training for 10 years and has worked with a variety of hockey and lacrosse teams in the past. She is CrossFit Gymnastics certified and recently completed her Precision Nutrition L1 as well. Eden is a valuable member of this team and we are so lucky to have her breadth of knowledge on our coaching staff.

Nick is the newest member to our coaching staff and is fitting in perfectly. He is an early riser and the morning crew love having him as a coach. Nick is a competitive level hockey player himself and has 3+ years of previous coaching with Hockey and Football athletes.

Tuli has been coaching CrossFit for 4 years and comes to CrossFit COL with a breadth of knowledge in Olympic Weight Lifting, Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching. She will also be completing her L2 in October 2021. Tuli is a ball of energy and our members absolutely love her classes.

Courtney has been coaching CrossFit for 3 years and specializes in Team Training and Youth Training. Courtney is a certified Physical Education teacher at a high school in Toronto and thoroughly enjoys sharing her love of fitness with her students and younger generations. Courtney is fierce, comical and will always leave the class smiling or laughing whenever she coaches.

Jake is a new coach to CrossFit but is definitely not new to the sport. He’s been doing CrossFit for over 2 years now & has made incredible improvements as an athlete. He completed his L1 in December of 2022 and is excited to learn more. He is a full time firefighter, a past high level hockey player and all around great dude.
